July sees the return of the prestigious Imprint Writing Competition, launched to help encourage and support emerging Ayrshire writers.

Imprint Patron, Zoë Strachan, along with colleagues at the prestigious University of Glasgow’s Edwin Morgan School of Creative Writing will be judging the award.

There are two categories – one for prose and one for poetry.

Theme: Open

Word Limit: Prose 1500. Poetry unlimited

Winners will be announced at the Imprint Writing Awards held at the Dick Institute during Book Week Scotland.
