River Ayr Way Ultra Marathon Relay

This annual ultra-marathon is part of the Scottish Ultra Marathon series and attracts runners from all over the country.  If 44 miles doesn’t appeal, this new relay option has also been introduced:

Section 1:  Glenbuck to Sorn, 17 miles, mainly off road, rural paths

Section 2:  Sorn to Annbank,  14 miles, mainly off road, rural paths. Some on road sections.

Section 3:  Annbank to Ayr, 9 miles, mainly on road and tarmac paths

Overall time allowed: 10 hours

Check-in Saturday 16th September, 7.30 to 8.45 at Glenbuck Loch

Buses leave from Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock and Ayrshire College, Ayr at 7:30. Dam Park will be open from 7:00 for toilets.

Start of race  9:00
