Happy Mondays Announce Grand Hall Gig

The Happy Mondays have announced new 2017 UK dates for their '24 Hour Party People Greatest Hits Tour', celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album 'Squirrel and G-Man'.

AND... Kilmarnock's Grand Hall will welcome the band in December.

Huge in the 80s, the band's original line-up was Shaun Ryder (vocals), his brother Paul Ryder (bass), Mark Day (guitar), Paul Davis (keyboard), and Gary Whelan (drums). Mark "Bez" Berry later joined the band onstage as a dancer/percussionist and Rowetta joined as a guest vocalist in 1990.

Pioneers of the 'Madchester' sound, the band hit their peak with the releases Bummed (1988) and Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches (1990). They disbanded in 1993, and have reformed several times in subsequent decades.

The band will play the Grand Hall on 22 December - Doors 7pm.
