Sidesplitters presents Des McLean's Solo Show

Multi-award winning stand-up comedian, TV & Radio presenter, event host and actor Des McLean brings his solo show to Kilmarnock.

Based in Glasgow, Des is in demand both throughout the UK and across the world and has recently toured America, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Des regularly presents TV programmes for both BBC & STV. On radio he has co-hosted the Clyde 1 Breakfast Show for 5 years, winning three prestigious Sony Radio Awards for the creativity of the content.

On stage Des has appeared in a number of productions, including in 2013 Iain Pattison’s critically acclaimed play ‘I Tommy’, about the life of politician Tommy Sheridan.

In 2014 he created ‘Des McLean’s A to Z of Scotland’ which he performed to audiences in a major nationwide tour. The accompanying DVD to the tour is the latest addition to the series of his best selling catalogue of DVD’s & CD’s.
