Volunteers Day Clean Up

East Ayrshire Leisure is calling all nature lovers for Volunteers Day!

On Sunday 4 June at 1pm the Countryside Rangers are leading a Volunteers Day Clean Up at the Dean Castle and Country Park which is part of National Volunteers Week (1 - 7 June).

Get involved:-

Volunteer at Dean Castle Country Park as part of National Volunteers Week and help us clean up the park! The work of the clean-up will help to protect animals, fish, birds, and plant life from the risks that littering poses.

You will also be sending a message to other people that the park is for everyone and should be looked after and enjoyed – it's not a place to dump rubbish. Take the chance to spend the day with like-minded people and you might just make a friend or two. This an excellent way to spend the day as a single volunteer, group or family.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. It takes place from 1st-7th June every year. Keep up-to-date with activities by following @NCVOvolunteers or @EALeisure on twitter or tweet us and let us know what you’re doing.

Meet in the main car park 1pm.
