If you have been caught up in the mysterious time travelling escapades of Claire Randall the lead character in Scottish based 'Outlander', you'll be aware of the huge impact it is having on Scottish tourism.
The impact of the series is in large part due to the beautiful landscapes and historical buildings across Scotland where shooting has taken place. A syou're no doubt aware, this included Kilmarnock's beautiful Dean Castle, which features in series 2.
To further highlight the attractions and regions connected to 'Outlander', Visit Scotland has set six travel bloggers, collectively known as The Scotlanders the challenge of visiting as many locations on the 'Outlander' map as possible.
The challenge will take place over the weekend of 26 and 27 August 2017 and there will 3 groups of 2 people covering different parts of the country.
Other hashtags and handles to look out for to follow the weekend are #Scotlanders #ScotSpirit @VisitScotland
You can view the 'Outlanders' map here if you're tempted to take the challenge yourself - maybe over a longer time period!
