Big Weekend at Dean Castle Country Park

Join us this weekend as we celebrate the reopening of Dean Castle Country Park with the ever popular Harvest Festival and the brand new Real Ale Festival.

As the huge redevelopment project approaches its conclusion this celebratory weekend will see the park spring back to life.

The Harvest Festival which runs from 11am-4pm on Sunday offers free entertainment for the whole family from noon, including The Drakes of Hazard, Ridgeside Falconry and the Killie Flyers.

Have a go at archery, willow weaving, leatherwork, join a foraging walk or make your own Smoothie using just pedal power. You can vote in our annual scarecrow competition too!

Wander round the craft stalls which will be selling everything from cheese and chocolate to jam to jewellery.

Wee ones can enjoy storytelling with Tony Bonning or watch "The Worm" - a performance by EcoDrama for 3-7 year olds.

The Real Ale Festival will also take place in the castle courtyard from 12.30pm - 5pm. Sold out on Friday and Saturday a few additional tickest have been released for Sunday's event but these are limited. To guarantee entry we advise that you book your tickets in advance online.
