Christmas in Kilmarnock Town Centre
Join us in the town centre on Sun 27th November for an afternoon of Christmas festivities.
Browse the shops and market stalls to pick up some gifts and enjoy carol singing, music, performances from the Kilmarnock Cheerleaders and street entertainment under the twinkling town centre Christmas lights.
The Christmas lights will be on from 12 noon and there will be a range of entertainment throughout the afternoon and keep an eye out for our hilarious compere from this year's Palace Theatre panto!
12noon - 12.30pm - Be entertained by stilt walkers and jugglers
12.30pm - 1pm - A performance from the amazing Kilmarnock Cheerleaders
1pm- 1.45pm - Enjoy some festive tunes from the Salvation Army band
2pm - 3pm - Stilt walkers will be wandering through the crowds
2pm- 3.30pm - Enjoy a sing along with a local busker
3.30pm - 3.50pm -Our piper will be entertaining you on the bagpipes
3.50pm 4pm - The winners of a trip to Lapland announced by our panto sponsor, Stewart Travel!
3.50pm - 4.30pm - Be amazed by our acrobat and stilt walkers
Stewart Travel will be open so there is still time to enter the prize draw to be in with a chance of winning an amazing family trip to Lapland. Entries close on the day at 3.30pm
The range of stallholders in the town centre will include;

Inverloch Cheese – A range of cheeses made in Campbeltown, including whisky cheese, apple smoked, truffle, claret & garlic
Slavin Toys – A range of fun toys and entertainment
Caurnie Soap – Hand made soaps in bars & liquid form with many that can be used to treat skin conditions & allergies
Cosy Knits – A wide range of hand knitted clothes for kids & adults
Emma’s Wee World – A locally made collection of resin jewellery & personal gifts
Bertos Brownies – A delicious range of hand baked brownies
Wee Broon Hens – A range of speciality local farm produce from fresh free range eggs, pickles and chutneys & baked goods, all sold from a genuine horse box!
The Creamy Cheesecake Company – All range of cheesecakes that come in different sizes & individually packed – you won’ t get them anywhere else!
Enter dos Tierras – Natural, native wild flower resin jewellery & gifts
Clydeside Soap – A wide range of hand made soaps, candles, diffusers & wax melts

There will be some kids rides available in the town centre too.
There is also a free family event taking place at the New Laigh Kirk from 1pm-4pm. Enter their 'Christmas Escape' themed event and see if you have the skills to unlock the secrets of Christmas! Refreshments & treats provided.
Drop in to the Open Studio in Burns Mall from 12 noon. Hutcheson Art Studio will be presenting demonstrations of painting, acrylic pouring, jewellery, spinning and craft, gesso techniques, cake toppers, & badges to commission.
