In Search of the South West
A photographic exploration of the natural and man-made beauties of the south-west corner of Scotland by Willie Lee and Jim Johnstone.
The south-west corner of Scotland, bounded by the rivers Clyde in the north and Nith in the east, and the Firth of Clyde and Solway coast in the west and south, is rich in scenic beauty and man-made historical relics.
From the wilds of the Galloway and Arran mountains to the urban centres of Glasgow and Ayrshire, the photographs encompass imagery from some well-known sites such as the Ayrshire and Galloway coasts to some of the lesser known hidden gems of the area.
This exhibition is an attempt to capture the essence of this small corner of the world in fifty photographs by Cumnock photographers Willie Lee and Jim Johnstone.
