#BEALIFEGUARD

Looking for employment? Enthusiastic and Motivated? Have you considered a career in the leisure industry?

If so come along to our recruitment fair on Saturday 24 March. We’re looking for people to join our poolside team at leisure venues across East Ayrshire both permanent and bank posts available. Check out the vacancies below, we’re also offering training for lifeguards and swimming instructors at hugely discounted prices!

This fair is something a little bit different and you could secure a post by the end of the day! The event will take place in Dean Castle Country Park’s Visitor Centre and you’ll have to register before coming along. We’ll help you to complete your application form to give you the best possible chance of making it to the shortlist and interviews will be carried out on the day allowing us to notify suitable candidates by the end of the day…simple! If you’re interested but don’t have the required qualifications for the positions advertised this time round, staff will be on hand with information on training courses where you could obtain the skills necessary in order to apply for future vacancies plus we’re offering huge discounts exclusively to recruitment fair attendees (see below).

Anyone interested in attending the recruitment fair should register in advance by calling 01563 554026  Before Friday 23rd March at 3pm. Please see additional info below for what you’ll need to bring on the day. Previously unsuccessful candidates are encouraged to come along to the event.

The RLSS Lifeguard Course – normally £240 – will be reduced to just £50; the STA Baby and Pre School Swimming Instructor will be discounted from £250, also to just £50*, as will the STA Award (Level 1) and certificate (Level 2) Swimming Instructor*.  *To register for the STA courses you must hold a current STA membership, which can be purchased online (£47) and have completed the online safeguarding unit or equivalent (£25) prior to the 1st day of the course.  Please note that failure to complete any of the courses will result in you being invoiced for the balance of the full course amount.  Any re-sit of exams will incur a £25 charge. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis on the day.
