Book Week Scotland Line-Up

The tenth anniversary Imprint Book Festival proved to be another huge success at Kilmarnock’s Dick Institute, and the venue is now proud to welcome previous Imprint Writing Award winner Pat Young to discuss her first novel 'Till the Dust Settles' on Thursday, November 23.

Pat will kick off this year's 'Book Week Scotland' programme in conversation with Caro Ramsay, author of the 'Anderson & Costello' thrillers, from 7pm, with admission costing £2.

Pat grew up in Ayrshire and spent her entire career teaching. She has always loved reading but only took up writing six years ago. For all the budding writers out there, dreams can come true – come along and hear how Pat made it happen.

Book Week Scotland continues with 'Debut Authors with a Difference' - Cal Flyn and Karl Geary on Monday 27th November and continues with Denise Mina on Thursday 30, both at the Dick Institute.

The event concludes with the Imprint 2017 Writing Award Prize Giving on Friday 1 December, also at the Dick Institute.
