Access restricted at Dick Institute from 11 May

The Dick Institute is due to undergo essential maintenance works from the end of May and through June. These are to the dome above the main entrance hall, the Main Gallery and the South Museum which will benefit from new lighting and a redisplay of its exhibits.

This will mean that the North and South museums, main stairs and balcony area will be closed to the public from 5pm on the 11 May. There will be scaffolding in place on the ground floor but access to the Library spaces and café will be unaffected.

The Main Gallery will also close at 4pm 11 May at the end of the current exhibition – ‘Karl Blossfeldt, Artforms in Nature’ and reopen on 6 July with ‘The Printed Line’.

The re-opening date is dependent on the progress of the maintenance work, watch this space and check our social media channels for updates and access information.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
