The Scottish Hospitality Awards 2019 recognise the champions of the industry

2019 is turning out to be a good year as the Palace Theatre receives yet another nomination for excellence.

East Ayrshire Leisure is delighted to announce that the Palace Theatre is a finalist in the Best Theatre category of the 4th Scottish Hospitality Awards hosted by Creative Oceanic and voted for by the Scottish public.

This news comes after the Palace Theatre pantomime was nominated for not one, but two awards at the Great British Panto Awards – Best Dame and Musical Achievement.

The Scottish Hospitality Awards aim to celebrate the dedication, skill and customer service of the professionals that work within the nominated venues. They also aim to acknowledge those who make a positive difference in the hospitality sector.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 21 May at a black-tie event in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow.

A Spokesperson for the Scottish Hospitality Awards 2019 said: “Working for the hospitality industry can be challenging at times and these awards aim to recognise those who have succeeded in this sector, despite the difficulties. There are people who have dedicated their whole career in making the country a special destination for visitors. It is time to give those professionals the recognition they deserve.”

"The awards will provide a platform to thank and honour those who have contributed to making Scotland a friendly and welcoming place, enhancing the country’s reputation nationally and internationally. We would like to congratulate all the finalists for their nomination and wish them the best of luck.”
