This year's Harvest Festival fun at Dean Castle & Country Park more than lived up to expectations. The annual event celebrates rural life by showcasing  a whole range of demonstrations and activities with a country theme.

This year, the Drakes of Hazard and Killie Flyers made a welcome return and there were displays from Strathblane Falconry too! Other activities on the day  included storytelling with the brilliant Tony Bonning, archery, a school scarecrow competition - with some fantastic and creative entries, donkey rides, rural craft stalls, local allotment groups and much more!

There was even some music from Borland Ceilidh Band too!

The weather was a good as you could expect from the summer of 2015 and everyone had a brilliant time moving around the park, taking in the sights.

The final event of this year's Countryside Festival takes place on Sunday 27 September in Kimarnock's Howard Park - Kilmarnock Criterium Closed Circuit Cycling Compeitition is sure to be another busy and exciting event. Come along and show your support from 10am.
