We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and adhering to guidance issued by the UK and Scottish Governments. Current advice on minimising the spread of the virus is that all events and gatherings of people are to cease across all sectors. We have made the decision that as well as cancelling all events, activities and classes, all of our venues will be closed until further notice.
This includes the mobile library and Homewords service.
Fines for library books will be waived during this period. You can renew your library books using our online service.
We are working on some projects that will enhance our on-line offer and keep active at home. We will be updating our social media channels during this period with information on e-books, home workouts, children’s activities and more to try and support our customers who are self-isolated.
We will also be working with East Ayrshire Council and playing our part in supporting community resilience.
Please keep connected with us as we work together over the next few weeks.
