Osprey Cam
Welcome to East Ayrshire Leisure Trust’s Osprey Nest Cam!
We are thrilled to be able to bring you live webcam footage from our very busy Osprey nest located in the beautiful area of Loch Doon, East Ayrshire in Scotland where Ospreys have nested since 2012.
Grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy watching the fascinating day to day activities of this incredible migratory species.
Once you click on the video link below, click the square icon on the bottom right to view full screen.
Ospreys have been visiting Loch Doon in East Ayrshire since 2012 and in that time have reared 18 chicks, which is an incredible yield in the time period. The first Osprey (Angel) returned to the nest on the 19th March this year, a week earlier than expected followed by Franky who made his appearance on the 24th March.
After two years of no camera footage at the nest site due to ageing equipment having to be replaced, we are thrilled that we can now bring this live stream back for you to enjoy.
The team here at East Ayrshire Leisure will be looking at holding a range of activities at the site looking at it's fascinating history and of course.... the Osprey! Details will be posted below and on our social media channels. So keep checking in to find out more.
