The Palace Theatre & Grand Hall Complex are part of exciting design proposals for Cultural Kilmarnock which has been developed by East Ayrshire Council in partnership with East Ayrshire Leisure. In preparation for this, we will not be accepting any new bookings for the Palace Theatre or Grand Hall. We do have a number of other venues across the area where we would be able to offer alternative spaces for groups, meetings and shows contact info@eastayrshireleisure.com. All scheduled performances and events will still run as programmed.
The Palace Theatre and neighbouring Grand Hall have seen a host of big names over the past few years – Gerry Cinnamon, Kevin Bridges, Sean Lock, Dorothy Paul, Lesley Joseph, The View, Calvin Harris, Johnny Marr, Primal Scream, Kasabian, the Happy Mondays, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott and Billy Connolly to name just a few! The Grand Hall is also part of pop history - The Sweet penned Ballroom Blitz after a raucous night in the venue in January 1973.
