Outdoor Learning

Outdoor learning offers unique opportunities to extend the potential of our children and young people. We learn in context and through experience and place so we need to offer different and challenging experiences to stimulate learning and development.

Visits from schools within East Ayrshire are free of charge. There is a £2.50 charge per pupil for schools outwith East Ayrshire.

Junior Rangers

Are you aged 12 to 18?

Why not become part of our Junior Ranger Club and get involved in practical conservation work such as:

Hedge laying, pond digging, willow weaving and tree planting
Building animal homes such as bird and bat boxes
Learning about habitat management
Taking part in wildlife surveys for bees, raptors, pond life and much more

Every second Saturday, 2 - 4pm during term time

To make a booking or for more information about Outdoor Learning or our Junior Ranger Club, drop us an email: rangers@eastayrshireleisure.com or give us a call on 01563 554743.
