YOUNG DANCERS WANTED TO SHINE IN SLEEPING BEAUTY AT THE GALLEON CENTRE THIS CHRISTMAS

Excitement is already building in East Ayrshire for this year’s magical production of Sleeping Beauty and now, local youngsters are being invited to be part of the festive fun on stage!

Talented young dancers aged 9–15 (and school years P5-S4 at the time of production) are encouraged to audition for a spot in the Junior Ensemble in this year’s spectacular pantomime at the Galleon Centre, a temporary home for the pantomime while the Palace Theatre refurbishment continues.

Open auditions will take place on Saturday 23 August at St Joseph’s Leisure Centre in Grassyards Road, Kilmarnock where aspiring young performers will learn a short routine and showcase their skills in front of a panel. No previous experience is required, just energy, enthusiasm, and a love of performing.

Many young people who’ve joined our Junior Ensembles have gone on to careers in the industry and it all started with that first audition.
