The River Ayr Way Challenge ultra-marathon is back for Sep 2025!! Often referred to as the RAW Challenge, this is a popular event in the Scottish Ultra Marathon series and attracts runners from all over the country.

This 40 mile ultra marathon passes through some of Ayrshire's most spectacular scenery. Begins at Glenbuck Loch and follows the River Ayr Way to Ayr.
