*Kids Activity Club at Grange Leisure Centre will not be running tonight 7 March.
*Newmilns Library will remain closed until Wed 12 March due to works taking place. Library services will be available at Darvel Library during Newmilns' usual opening hours.
*Due to building work delays, Darvel Tots won’t take place on Tues 11th March. Existing bookings for 11th will be transferred to Tues 18th

Time Travel Trails

The Time Travel Trails...jolt back into action from Saturday 1st February

Come on an excellent adventure! 

Calling all Time Travellers, explore our cultural venues in our free, fun family-friendly self-led trails…Time Travel IS possible…!  Visit our brilliant cultural venues to take part – Baird Institute, Burns House Museum and Dick Institute.

As you travel through the buildings, visit different times in history…the trails will lead you on a whirlwind tour to track down famous local figures and creatures from our past which have helped shape our incredible Ayrshire history and present as we know it today!

BUT … Bursting out with a fabulous new twist from Saturday 1st February - this time round you can unravel stories with our new characters who have popped up to say hello!! Let them spin you a good yarn about life in the past in and around Ayrshire.

These new woolly wee wonders are knitting their wee brows together wondering...Wool you find them all?!

The knitted characters are the result of an imaginative community project bringing together textile volunteers showcasing a display of their incredible artistry and skills. Click here to read our news article and see some of the fantastic woolly characters you'll find on our trails..
