New for 2019!
24 hour races have been growing in popularity in recent years with events like Endure 24 and Thunder Run attracting thousands of runners for what have been described as 'Glastonbury for runners'.
The K2-4 Trail Race is Scotland’s newest 24 hour ultramarathon. Runners have 24 hours to see how many 4km loops of the route around Dean Castle Country Park they can complete. There is also a 12 hour race which serves as a nice introduction to ultra-running. Teams of up to 10 runners can take part in K2-4 as well as individual entrants. All entrants will receive a medal and goody bag. Camping and facilities available on site. Prizes for furthest distance ran by a male, female and team for K2-4 and male and female entrants for K12.
The event will start at 10pm on Friday the 28th of June and run through until 10pm on the Saturday evening. The 12K race can be run from 10pm on Friday until 10am Saturday OR start at 10am Saturday and continue until 10pm.
