Kick Off Your Winter Training

The clocks go back at the weekend but you don’t have to miss out on your team training or regular kick-about with friends this winter.

We have floodlit, synthetic grass pitches available for casual evening and weekend bookings, situated at Grange, Loudoun, Stewarton, St Joseph’s, Doon Valley and Auchinleck leisure centres.

Surfaces range from 3G to Fifa I and can accommodate activities including seven and 11-a-side football, hockey and light rugby training, depending on the pitch. Please check with your local facility before booking.

With Christmas just around the corner, now is a great time to get in shape with these fantastic new fitness classes at Ayrshire Athletics Arena.

Get Me Started Hit & Run with Alex, on Mondays from 5.45pm to 6.30pm, is the perfect class for beginners, joggers or even those who haven't run in a while and would like a gentle reintroduction. With no minimum standard of fitness required, this class is suitable for all abilities and features basic exercises that can be done anywhere, from the office chair to the park bench.

Total Body Blast with Fiona, on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pm, is a high intensity interval training workout for the whole body. A great fat burner suitable for all abilities, this class will boost your metabolism and build endurance.

And Physio Pilates with Move Better Physio, on a Tuesday from 8.15pm to 9.15pm, is led by a physiotherapist who has attained the highest qualification in Pilates through APPI. This class will enable you to strengthen from the inside out, enhancing your core stability and improving flexibility.

All classes can be paid per session or are included as part of Gold Membership.
