New leisure facility opens its doors in New Farm Loch

The doors to a brand new sports centre will open in New Farm Loch, Kilmarnock on 6 August, giving fitness fans access to a wide range of leisure activities in a fantastic, modern and purpose built facility.


William McIlvanney Leisure Centre, part of the William McIlvanney school campus, opens for business on Monday, August 6 and will be managed by East Ayrshire Leisure Trust.


Activities on offer include a number of sports halls suitable for badminton, football, basketball, netball and martial arts; a dance studio hosting fitness classes including Les Mills, BODYPUMP, Les Mills BODYATTACK, Metafit, Abs Blast, Pedal Power, HIIT and Boxercise, and a fully equipped fitness suite with a free weights area and a variety of cardio and resistance machines.


Community and class rooms are also available for boardroom meetings, presentations and courses.


Gold membership is currently available at the discounted price of £22.99 per month with no joining fee (terms and conditions apply), which can also be used across all of the Trust’s sport and fitness facilities. Pay and go options are also available.


The centre is open from 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

East Ayrshire Leisure Trust are also thrilled to announce that Less Mills BODYATTACK, BODYPUMP and BODYCOMBAT classes will be available at Loudoun Leisure Centre in Galston from Monday, August 13, with residents invited to go along and try the classes free of charge during the first week as part of a special launch promotion.
