Grange Community Sport Hub officially opens this weekend
The Grange Community Sports Hub and its partners will be having an official launch packed full of activities on Saturday 12th September at the Grange Leisure Centre from 12 – 2pm. There will be an afternoon of free activities for all ages including Funtastic party games, inflatables as well as taster sessions of football, badminton, golf, yoga, bowling, rugby and much more!
The sessions will be led by qualified instructors from a range of Sports Hub partners - East Ayrshire Leisure, Kilmarnock Football Club, Kilmarnock Leisure Education Association (KLEA), Hurlford Badminton Club, Kilmarnock & District Badminton Club, Kilmarnock Portland Football Club, Annanhill Golf Club, Springhill Bowling Club, Cluarankwai Grange Judo Club, Active Schools, Vibrant Communities and Grange Academy. Come along and join in the fun!
Community Sports Hubs provide a home for sport. They focus on the clubs and other local organisations that want to work together to improve the sport offered in their local community. The Grange Community Sports Hub aims to provide a welcoming Hub promoting health, wellbeing, learning and social interaction in a variety of sport and physical activities through a strong school to club partnership providing sporting pathways from grassroots level upwards.
