Best Bar None Awards Recognises East Ayrshire Leisure Venues

Best Bar None Scotland's National Awards recognises the very best licensed venues in Scotland, which have gone 'over and above' to improve safety standards and best practice helping to facilitate safe and enjoyable nights out for the public.

We're delighted to announce that the Palace Complex and Cumnock Town Hall were among this year's winners, with the Palace winning Gold and Cumnock Town Hall walking away with a Silver Award in The BBN Scotland National category: Best Specialist Entertainment Venue.

Among the many other Kilmarnock venues to be recognised were, Gold winners - The Park Hotel, First Edition, Brass & Granite and WG13. Winners in the Silver category included Fanny By Gaslight, Wheatsheaf Inn and The Millhouse.

Craig Marshall, East Ayrshire Best Bar None coordinator, comments: “The East Ayrshire Best Bar None scheme has really gone from strength to strength this year, and I would like to congratulate all the venues which have taken part. Safety has to be the first priority on a night out, and all our licensed premises have shown a real commitment placing the welfare of staff and customers first.
