Irvine Valley Trails Project Update

East Ayrshire Leisure is pleased to announce that work is now underway on the Darvel to Loudoun Hill Path. This is one of many routes included in the Irvine Valley Trails Project and is one of the longest routes included in the development. The appointed contractor McGowan Environmental Engineering commenced work this week on upgrading the path leading to the base Loudoun Hill.

The Irvine Valley Trails Project aims to deliver a network of active travel routes that will connect the towns and villages of the Valley with each other, and also to the surrounding locations of East Ayrshire with links to East Renfrewshire and North Lanarkshire - thus providing an variety of active travel options for non-motorised travellers.
