East Ayrshire Leisure Trust are examining options for the development of a Regional Sports Park at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena. 

We are considering how the Ayrshire Athletics Arena, Scott Ellis Playing Fields, and surrounding sports grounds could be enhanced to create a vibrant Regional Sports Park. The project supports our mission to improve community access to high-quality sport and leisure facilities, promoting health, wellbeing, and participation in sport at every level.

Our key ambitions for the site include creating a national-level athletics facility, enhancing multi-sport infrastructure, and increasing participation in both community and elite sports.

Consultation Opportunities

We are eager to hear from the local community, sports clubs, and all interested stakeholders. Your input will play a vital role in shaping the future of the project.

In-person Drop-in Session - An opportunity to view proposed improvements, ask questions of our consultants, and share feedback:

• Tuesday 30^th September (3pm – 8pm in the meeting room at the Arena)

Online Sessions - If you are unable to attend the in-person session, our consultants will present the emerging proposals and take your questions and feedback on Microsoft Teams:

• Tuesday 23^rd September (6:30pm – 7:30pm)
• Thursday 9^th October (6:30pm – 7:30pm)
