Doon Valley Leisure Centre

Doon Valley Leisure Centre, located within Doon Academy Campus, offers a variety of activities for all the family including kids’ activities, casual sports such as badminton, basketball, indoor and outdoor football, swimming pool access and a full range of swimming lessons.
The centre also has a fitness suite with a selection of cardiovascular equipment, free weights and resistance machines, as well as a programme of fitness classes. The Centre is also available for hire for parties.

"How have the staff impacted my life? Without the fitness staff at DVLC I would be a completely different person mentally and physically. Not only do they give varied exciting classes every session but they listen, they care and they always make us feel welcome and wanted. My son was always the quiet boy who wouldn’t mix, Wendy and Billy have given him a reason to get out the house, to interact with people and find a love of fitness. During lockdown if it wasn’t for outdoor classes then he wouldn’t have communicated with or seen another soul. The reason he loves the classes so much is because they treat him like an adult, they motivate and encourage. The staff at DVLC always go above and beyond, they go the extra mile that big commercial gyms don’t. They know their customers likes/dislikes/injuries and conditions. I have never felt safer in any public building during Covid than what I do at DVLC because they genuinely want to keep their customers safe. I’m so lucky to have this facility right on my doorstep."
