This community venue underwent major renovation work in 2022 including the development of a brand new library space. New furniture and fittings have created a bright and airy space for library users and visitors of all ages to access and enjoy. One of the most significant pieces of heritage work has been the conservation and restoration of the stained glass windows throughout the building, carried out by Rainbow Glass.
The Main Hall has a large stage and a seating capacity of 200 and can be used for large meetings, weddings and birthday parties and shows. The small public meeting room has a capacity of up to 25 people.
Morton Hall is a B listed building situated in the main street of Newmilns. It was built in 1896 and is a single storey, 6-bay, gabled Jacobethan-style public hall made of red Ballochmyle sandstone ashlar. The building contains a large public hall with a stage and a smaller room.
The venue also has a large spacious kitchen with catering facilities available.
