* The Lugar Water Trail is closed between the Barony A Frame and Ochiltree. This is due to damage caused by the recent high water levels which has resulted in sections of the path being unpassable.
* Due to an electrical fault and holiday commitments, the South Mobile will not be in operation until 8th Dec.
* Annanhill Golf Course will be closed until Thursday. The course is unplayable due to snow and ice and will have to thaw before the course is reopened.

Morton Hall
"Morton Hall is a B listed building situated in the main street of Newmilns. It was built in 1896 and is a single storey, 6-bay, gabled Jacobethan-style public hall made of red Ballochmyle sandstone ashlar.
During 2022 the community venue, has undergone major renovation work which has included the refurbishment of the main hall & connecting areas, external works to the roof and stone masonry, upgraded toilet facilities and the development of a brand new library space. New furniture and fittings have created a bright and airy space for library users and visitors of all ages to access and enjoy. One of the most significant pieces of heritage work has been the conservation and restoration of the stained glass windows throughout the building, carried out by Rainbow Glass.
The building contains a large public hall with a stage and a smaller room. The Main Hall has a large stage and a seating capacity of 200 and can be used for large meetings, weddings and birthday parties etc. and is now available for bookings.
The small public meeting room has a capacity of up to 25 people.
The venue also has a large spacious kitchen with catering facilities available.
