Active Schools 
The Active Schools Team, in partnership with SportScotland, empowers everyone to embrace a healthier lifestyle, regardless of age or ability. We offer a wide range of engaging and accessible programmes before, during, and after school, as well as activities throughout the community. The aims of the team are to promote physical activity for all and to provide motivation and inspiration for healthy livestyle choices

This includes:
Diverse programme options -  from sustainable energetic sports and physical activity to creating links with local sports clubs and offering unique volunteering opportunities
Easily accessible -  provide free programmes before, during, or after school, and throughout the community
Positive learning environments -  our dedicated team fosters a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed and encouraged

Sports Development 

The Sports Development Team offer a wide range of opportunities including;
Diversionary Sport - Activities and programmes aimed at specific groups which would benefit from being involved in positive activities
Community Sports Hubs - Sports hubs bring sports clubs and community organisations together to develop sporting activities in local communities
Talented Athlete Support - Advice, support and assistance via the Talented Athlete Support Programme
Sport Council Information - Advice and information on the East Ayrshire Sports Council, club affiliation, coach training courses, grants, Junior Sports Council and awards
